An Ohio restaurant has been declared not liable for a customer’s injury caused by a bone found in a serving of boneless wings, according to a ruling by the Ohio Supreme Court. The customer filed a lawsuit after experiencing health issues due to a bone lodged in his throat. The court concluded that the term “boneless” referred to a cooking style, not a guarantee, and that customers should reasonably expect the presence of bone fragments in meat dishes. The lawsuit against the restaurant, food supplier, and chicken farm was dismissed.
